How to Find a Recurring Payment

This article discusses the steps of finding a recurring payment in Pay Theory’s dashboard using the search bar, filters, or statuses. Let’s take a look.


General Navigation Overview:

  1. Log into your Pay Theory account and navigate to the left-hand side of the titled “Recurring.”

  2. You will see the 10 most recent recurring payments.

    1. You can increase the number of visible payments with the “Results per Page” drop-down menu.

    2. You can also use the arrows by the “Results per Page” drop-down to paginate through pages.


Search Bar:

  1. Search for specific payments using the search bar.

    1. You can search by the payor’s name, email address, or phone number. The payments dashboard will update in real-time to the typed queries.


Search Using Filters:

  1. Another way you can search is by using filters. Locate and select the “Filters” button next to the search bar. A side sheet will appear on the left hand side.

  2. Enter in and or select the filters you wish to search by.

    1. You can combine multiple filters together to find a specific payment or set of payments.

  3. To clear all chosen filters, select the “Reset Filters” button at the bottom of the side sheet.


Search Using Status:

  1. Unique to Recurring Payments, you can search using payment statuses.

  2. Locate a payment using the “Status” options at the top of the screen.

  3. Select All, Active, Failed, or Inactive to display payments with only a specific status.
